The mother will have to protect their baby at this time of their life. A mother will be in a pack but will avoid the members during the 12-15 days to be sure that their baby is safe. The baby will be 500-700 grams when they are born. Before, they become an adult and baby amur leopard they would not hunt, their mother would hunt for them. Amur leopards mainly eat deer. They will leave their parents when they reach 2-3 years.

An Adult

An adult amur leopard is very independent after they leave their parents. They would hunt and do everything themself. When an amur leopard turns into an adult, they weigh 70-110 pounds. This is when the leopard has to be very careful. This is when trophy hunters would want to kill them. Trophy hunters are hunters that use cruel ways to kill the animals. They want to kill animals so they can make the animals into rugs and sell them.

Adult amur leopards have various ways to survive in the wild. They are very good at camouflage. Since, they live in a cold and snowy place and their coats are like pale cream so it is easy to camouflage in the surroundings.

Amur leopards communicate in vocalizations like moaning. Moaning will make others think that they have displeasure. Displeasure is when you are annoyed.
